The Pentax Efina was produced on Jun 3, 2013.

The Pentax Efina belongs to the category of ultracompact cameras. Its main advantage is a small size: the photographer can take it anywhere with himself easily. The camera is equipped with different automatic modes but you won't take pictures of the same great quality in comparison to large sensor compact cameras.

The Pentax Efina can take photos at 14 megapixels highest resolution. But for better picture quality the more important thing is a sensor size. This camera has a 1/2.3' (6.17 x 4.55 mm) sensor which means that the Efina will shoot photos with a lower quality than cameras with larger sensors but instead it is more portable. But if you want to take photos of the professional quality pay attention to Leica Q (Typ 116).

The camera has max shutter speed of 1/1400 sec. It is not very fast shutter speed but anyway the owner of the camera will manage to take photos of moving subjects. The owner of the Efina will be able to produce HD videos that guarantees a rather high image quality.

The lens is fixed and the photographer can't change it. The lens has average 5x optical zoom.

The Pentax Efina battery life will be enough to shoot up to 200 photos.
