The XOOM MZ601 is released with Android 3.0 (Honeycomb) - the most widespread platform on the market. For today 3.0 (Honeycomb) is already an outdated Android version: the tab will run almost all old games and apps and only some late ones until the current OS version is not updated. The tablet has a bad quality 10.1 inch screen with a resolution 800 x 1280 pixels.
The device is equipped with Dual-core 1.0 GHz Cortex-A9 CPU that provides a satisfactory performance. Please note, that dual core processor means that this device will be a better choice for multitasking. If you want to buy the tablet that shows the best performance check LG G Pad III 10.1 FHD.
The tab has 1 GB RAM that is an average amount of memory for normal performance. The cheapest model of the tablet is equipped with enough internal memory. If you need more, you can buy other size options or you can just expand the tab's storage with a microSD, up to 32 GB.
The XOOM MZ601 has a typical for tablets 5 megapixel rear camera. The tablet's 2 megapixel front camera is weak. The Motorola XOOM MZ601 supports 2g, 3g bands and has Wi-Fi.
