The IdeaPad 100 has very popular among notebooks a 15 inch display size. This computer provides a lot of space for entertainment and is great for working. But the notebook's size has become bigger and it is not the best choice for travelling. The picture quality is good for notebooks. The notebook has a great 1920x1080 display resolution.
The IdeaPad 100 uses an average Dual-Core Intel Core i3 (5th Gen) 5005U CPU that runs at 2 GHz clock speed. As the processor uses two cores it will be better at performing multiple tasks at once. To get really great performance it is better to select a notebook with Quad-Core CPU like Asus N551JX-DS71.
The 4 GB of memory is minimum capacity which will be enough for multitasking. If you feel that the model has not enough amount of RAM for you, you can add additional RAM, up to 8 GB.
The graphics card in this model is totally enough for browsing the web and watching YouTube videos. But you will be able to run modern games only at very minimal graphics settings.
This model has a big 1 TB HDD. Hard drives are inexpensive however they are much slower than SSD and Hybrid drives.
