First info about the Trigger by Plum appeared on February 2013 and the first offers appeared on April 2013. The phone is on sale from carriers including AT&T Wireless, Metro PCS, Boost Mobile, Virgin Mobile USA as well as retail stores like Wal-Mart, RadioShack.
The phone runs on the most popular OS on the market for now - Android OS. Trigger has released with the already old for now Android version: 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich). It means that the phone with this default OS version will not be able to run the latest games and apps. The mobile phone is equipped with 1.0 GHz Cortex-A9 processor which shows a not satisfactory performance. It has 256 MB RAM which is not enough for normal usage.
