Pentax Optio X prices and specs
The Optio X was produced on Aug 24, 2004. For today the lowest price for the camera is 219.99.
The Optio X belongs to the category of point and shoot cameras. Its main advantage is a very small size: the photographer can take it anywhere with himself easily. The Optio X has different automatic modes but you won't shoot photos of the same perfect quality in comparison to DSLR cameras.
The Optio X can make photos at 5 megapixels max resolution. But for better image quality the more important specification is a sensor size. The Optio X has a 1/2.5' (5.744 x 4.308 mm) sensor which means that the Optio X will make photos with not so high quality as cameras with bigger sensors but instead it has another advantage - the Optio X is small. But if you want to produce photos of the best quality pay attention to Nikon D810.
The Optio X has max shutter speed of 1/2000 sec. It is an average shutter speed which is rather good for taking action photos of a very good quality. The Optio X can even capture videos but the max resolution is not too high - 320 x 240.
The lens is fixed and the photographer won't be able to switch it. The lens provides weak 3x optical zoom.
