Olympus FE-280 prices and specs
The FE-280 was released on Aug 23, 2007 and is on sale in USA for $39.94.
The FE-280 is a ultracompact camera. Its main benefit is a very small size: the photographer can take it anywhere with himself easily. The Olympus FE-280 is equipped with various automatic modes but you won't shoot pictures of the same perfect quality in comparison to DSLR cameras.
The device can take images at 8 megapixels max resolution. But for better photo quality the more important thing is a sensor size. The FE-280 has a 1/2.3' (6.17 x 4.55 mm) sensor which means that the model will take images with a lower quality than cameras with larger sensors but instead it has another advantage - the FE-280 is small. But if you want to capture images of the best quality pay attention to Pentax K-1.
The Olympus FE-280 has max shutter speed of 1/2000 sec. It is an average shutter speed which will be enough for shooting action images of a satisfactory quality. The device can even produce videos but the max resolution is not very good - 640 x 480 @ 30 fps.
The lens is built into the device and you can't change it. The lens provides low 3x optical zoom.
