The Olympus FE-115 is a point and shoot camera. Its main advantage is a very small size: the photographer can take it anywhere with himself easily. The camera has different automatic modes but you won't take pictures of the same perfect quality in comparison to large sensor compact cameras.
The FE-115 can take pictures at 5 megapixels highest resolution. But if you want to get better image quality the more important specification is a sensor size. This model has a 1/2.5' (5.744 x 4.308 mm) sensor which means that the model will produce pictures with a lower quality than cameras with bigger sensors but instead it has more portable size. But if you want to take pictures of the professional quality check Leica M-P (Typ 240).
The camera has max shutter speed of 1/2000 sec. It is an average shutter speed which will be enough for taking action pictures of a satisfactory quality. The FE-115 can even produce videos but the max resolution is not very good - 320 x 240.
The lens is fixed and you won't be able to change it. The lens has weak 2x optical zoom.
