Kodak EasyShare P850 prices and specs
The Kodak EasyShare P850 was released on Aug 2, 2005. For today the lowest price for the device is $89.99.
The Kodak EasyShare P850 belongs to the category of compact cameras. Its main advantage is a very small size: the photographer can take it anywhere with himself easily. The camera has different automatic modes but you won't get photos of the same high quality in comparison to large sensor compact cameras.
The device can make pictures at 5 megapixels max resolution. But if you want to get better photo quality the more important specification is a sensor size. This model has a 1/2.5' (5.744 x 4.308 mm) sensor which means that the EasyShare P850 will produce pictures with not so high quality as cameras with larger sensors but instead it is smaller. And if you want to produce pictures of the professional quality check Leica SL (Typ 601).
The camera has max shutter speed of 1/1000 sec. It is not very fast shutter speed but still the photographer will be able to take pictures of moving people. The device can even record videos but the max resolution is not too high - 640 x 480.
The lens is fixed and the photographer can't switch it. The lens has great 12x optical zoom.
