Ricoh GR Digital prices and specs
The GR Digital was produced on Sep 13, 2005. For now the lowest price for the device is 584.89.
The GR Digital is a compact camera. Its main advantage is a very small size: the photographer can take it anywhere with himself easily. The camera has different automatic modes but you won't make pictures of the same great quality in comparison to large sensor compact cameras.
The device can make photos at 8 megapixels max resolution. But for better picture quality the more important thing is a sensor size. This model has a 1/1.8' (7.144 x 5.358 mm) sensor which means that the camera will produce photos with not so high quality as cameras with larger sensors but instead it is more portable. But if you want to take photos of the professional quality pay attention to Sony Alpha a99 II.
The camera has max shutter speed of 1/2000 sec. It is an average shutter speed that is rather good for taking action photos of a very good quality. The device can even shoot videos but the max resolution is not very high - 320 x 240 (30 fps).
The lens is fixed and you won't be able to switch it. The lens has low 1x optical zoom.
