Sanyo Xacti DSC-S3 prices and specs
The Xacti DSC-S3 was produced on May 19, 2004.
The Xacti DSC-S3 is a compact camera. Its main benefit is a very small size: the photographer can even put it in the pocket. The camera has various automatic modes but you won't shoot photographs of the same perfect quality in comparison to large sensor compact cameras.
The camera can make images at 3 megapixels max resolution. But if you want to get better photo quality the more important specification is a sensor size. This model has a 1/2.7' (5.312 x 3.984 mm) sensor which means that the model will shoot images with not so high quality as cameras with larger sensors but instead it has another advantage - the Xacti DSC-S3 has portable size. But if you want to capture images of the professional quality pay attention to Leica Q (Typ 116).
The camera has max shutter speed of 1/2000 sec. It is an average shutter speed which is rather good for shooting action images of a satisfactory quality. The camera can even record videos but the max resolution is not very good - 320 x 240.
The lens is fixed and the photographer can't switch it. The lens provides low 3x optical zoom.
