The XPS M1710 is a 17 inch laptop which is now sold with the price $293.33
The XPS M1710 uses an average Dual-Core Intel Core 2 Duo T7200 processor with 2 GHz clock speed. As the processor uses two cores it will be better at performing multiple tasks at once. To get really great performance you will need a laptop with Quad-Core processor like HP EliteBook 8740w.
The 2 GB of memory is a very low size which will not be enough for satisfactory performance. If you feel that the laptop has not enough amount of RAM for you, you can buy more RAM, up to 4 GB.
