The Gateway MX6959 is a 15 inch notebook.
The Gateway MX6959 uses a rather fast Dual-Core Intel Core 2 Duo T5500 CPU with 1.66 GHz clock speed. As the CPU has two cores it will be better at performing multiple tasks at once. To get really amazing performance you will need a notebook with Quad-Core CPU like Apple MacBook Pro with Touch Bar.
The 1 GB of memory is a very low capacity which will not be enough for satisfactory performance. If you need more memory, you can add additional RAM, up to 4 GB.
The notebook is equipped with Intel GMA 950. This graphics card shows a very bad performance and is only acceptable for simple tasks like video streaming and web browsing.
