The first I-mate K-JAM offers appeared on September 2005 and for now the phone is already dicontinued. The phone was on sale from carriers including AT&T Wireless, Verizon Wireless, T-Mobile, Virgin Mobile USA as well as retail stores like Wal-Mart, Target.
The phone runs on Microsoft Windows Mobile 5.0 PocketPC - one of the not popular operating systems. The cell phone has 200 MHz ARM926EJ-S CPU which shows a very low performance.
