Insignia NS-48D510NA15 48" Class LED TV prices and specs

It's a budget TV, but it *looks right*, which counts for a lot. Obviously if you throw up test patterns and try to dial in the contrast ratio with a series of similar shades of grey, you're going to see the limitations, but it doesn't have that cheap TV look. Humans don't look orange; daylight looks like daylight; it just looks neutral. Of course I could mess with the tint and colour temp and make it look as awful as I like, but I've seen some more recent smart TVs on the value end of the market whose colours can not be made to look natural no matter what you do (a 60" Hisense from maybe 5 or 6 years ago comes to mind; great price; awful panel).Biggest pet peeve about it? I lost the remote, and the buttons on the side of the TV have gotten really janky with time. There is almost no traditional universal remote I've encountered whose Insignia codes can address the menu functions; just standard Vol+/-, Ch up/dn, etc., but I finally picked up an old Logitech Harmony, and life is beautiful again.It's been on for most of every day for years at this point, and it still looks great, and it's old enough to still have real actual composite and component RCA ins (and surprisingly? The upscaler's not terrible!); what's not to like?
