Casio Exilim EX-Z1080 prices and specs
The Casio Exilim EX-Z1080 was released on Aug 28, 2007.
The Casio Exilim EX-Z1080 is a compact camera. Its main advantage is a very small size: the photographer can take it anywhere with himself easily. The camera has different automatic modes but you won't shoot pictures of the same great quality in comparison to large sensor compact cameras.
The Exilim EX-Z1080 can take images at 10 megapixels highest resolution. But for better image quality the more important specification is a sensor size. The Exilim EX-Z1080 has a 1/1.75' (7.36 x 5.52 mm) sensor which means that the model will make images with not so high quality as cameras with bigger sensors but instead it has another advantage - the Exilim EX-Z1080 is small. But if you want to take images of the professional quality check Leica M-P (Typ 240).
The camera has max shutter speed of 1/1000 sec. It is not very fast shutter speed but still the owner of the camera will be able to capture images of moving people. The Exilim EX-Z1080 can even capture videos but the max resolution is not very good - 848 x 480.
The lens is built into the Exilim EX-Z1080 and the photographer won't be able to change it. The lens has weak 3x optical zoom.
