The A107 by Celkon was announced on March 2013 and on sale it appeared on April 2013. The mobile phone is on sale from carriers including AT&T Wireless, Sprint, Metro PCS, Verizon Wireless as well as retailers like Target, RadioShack.
The mobile phone runs on the most popular OS on the market for now - Android OS. A107 was produced with the already out-of-date for now Android version: 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich). It means that the mobile phone owner will be able to run only some old games and apps with the current OS version. The A107 is equipped with Dual-core 1.0 GHz Cortex-A9 processor which shows a perfect performance. It has 512 MB RAM which is not much for normal usage.
